Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Winter Group Stage week 3 recap
Week 3 saw a lot of action and before we head into week 4 tonight we look back at all the action that happened.

In the first match of the evening Asterion took on Dutch Prodigy. Starting off with a knife win on Mirage, Asterion chose the Counter-Terrorist side, but it didn't really show why. After losing the pistol they went down 3-8, only almost closing it at half time: 7-8. The second half was really close, as both teams traded rounds, equalizing the score at 14-14.  In the last really close two rounds it was Asterion in the end that came out ahead and took the map 16-14.

LowLandLions versus 3P-Esports on Mirage was the next game of the evening. Choosing the CT side after winning the knife round, 3P-Esports couldn't showcase their strength on it, going down 4-11 on the first half. Their T side was even harsher though, as they could only pick up a round at 4-15. It proved to not be enough as LowLandLions closed out the game with a 5-16 score.

Venko Gaming against mCon esports was the first match played on Cobblestone. Venko Gaming started of on the Terrorist side, whilst mCon had to defend. In the end it was Venko who got the better during the first half, going 11-4. They took the momentum with them into the second half, winning 5 rounds in a row, winning the match 16-5.

The last game of the evening was between PROGRESSiON and The Untouchables, who faced each other also on Mirage. Progression won the knife and immediately went 8-0 on CT side, ending the half 14-1. The game looked over, but The Untouchables were able to come back to 14-7 and 15-10. Ultimately though, it was PROGRESSION that grabbed the 26th round and the win 16-10.
