League of Legends Winter Group Stage week 2 recap
Week 2 saw a lot of action and before we head into week 3 tonight we look back at all the action that happened.

The first game of the evening was a forfeit win for mCon eSports, as Lachende Gerdas didn't field their substitute players in time.

The real first game Asterion against Team Paria, which would prove to be a very close game. From the very first minute onwards, the match went back and forth. Slowly but surely Team Paria was able to secure small advantages. A desperation Baron for Asterion proved fatal, as in the ensuing teamfight they lost all their members and their Nexus, netting Team Paria their first win of the season.

Next up was Sector One versus Uncharted Gaming. Uncharted Gaming started out strong, grabbing themselves the first kill and a small gold advantage. Sector One did however turn the game around with superior map rotation, taking back the lead and finishing the game in calm fashion.

The final game of the evening was ECVisualize versus Team Gamegear. After a bit of a whitewash last week, ECV showed that they improved as a team, being able to trade blows with Gamegear. A great teamfight at dragon from Gamegear saw them taking a strong lead, securing the Baron 10 minutes later and closing out the game with the Baron buff.

This gives us the standings after week 2:
