And it gets even better! The Pro Bootcamp will be played on Activision's upcoming title Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, which will be released November 4th, 2014. In an all expenses paid trip some of the best Call of Duty teams around the world will come together for gamescom, August 13-17, to join this unique event.
Advanced Warfare Pro Bootcamp by ESL
ESL, the world's largest, independent eSports brand, in partnership with Activision and Sledgehammer Games, is excited to host a bootcamp to introduce players to their forthcoming title, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. In a gesture showing the companies' commitment to players, August 13-17 will become a chance for both the pros and the community to get hands on experience with the new game. The event promises to be a grand spectacle as each day, ESL will focus on one of several new and exciting features.
In addition to the daily feature shows, 12 of the best Professional Call of Duty teams will make the trip to Cologne to practice on the new game and participate in a series of showmatches. The teams will come from 8 different regions: US, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Benelux, and Nordics. The world’s largest gaming event, gamescom, will see the true potential of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Live Stream and Showmatches
Showmatches, organized by the ESL, will be streamed live through Twitch August 13-16, thus everyone who is not able to come to gamescom will still be able to see Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in action, played by some of the best teams in the world. Once the event has started the stream will be available here as well.

“This Pro bootcamp gives us a chance to show the potential of the new title to really incorporate the audience’s desires. We’re super excited to see how the Pros handle playing on the new title and what sort of interesting plays they can make. This event is hopefully just the first of many Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare events to come,” said David Hiltscher, Vice President Gaming Communities at ESL.
