On January 17th to 18th, we will see a total of eight teams, four European and four North American, battling out for a coveted spot in season 5 of the ESL Pro League. The winner of each matchup will be able to compete in the upcoming season with the top EU and NA teams for a prize pool of US$1,000,000.
From the European division, we’ll see Heroic and PENTA who placed 12th and 13th respectively in season 4, as well as two teams who placed second and third in the MDL Premier League – LDLC and Rogue respectively. LDLC lost in the grand final to Team Kinguin who earned a direct slot into the ESL Pro League, while Rogue won the 3rd place match against GODSENT.
Fighting for the North American slots will be Selfless and Splyce (12th and 13th in season 4), joined by Rush and Luminosity. Rush lost to Team SoloMid (who earned a direct slot into the ESL Pro League) in the MDL Premier League finals, while Luminosity won the 3rd place match versus eUnited.

North America
- 17th of January at 8:00 PM EDT – Selfless vs. Luminosity
- 18th of January at 8:00 PM EDT – Splyce vs. RUSH
Europe
- 18th of january at 6:00 PM CET – PENTA vs. LDLC
- 18th of January at 9:00 PM CET – Heroic vs. Rogue
All of the matchups will be played in a single elimination match in best of three format with the winners either staying in or advancing to the ESL Pro League.
