The North American division of ESL Pro League is dominated by two non-US squads right now. SK Gaming and OpTic Gaming seem to be a class on their own this season, sitting at 16 and 15 map wins respectively. Both teams have consistently outperformed their opposition throughout season 6 and are now looking to be the first two teams securing their participation at the Pro League Finals in Odense this December.
With the remaining matches every team below 6th place can earn a maximum of 50 points at this point. Resulting from that, SK Gaming need to secure only 2 points in their match against Rogue tonight. Rogue – who sit at 13th position right now – have to fight for survival in the relegation race and will try their absolute best to gain some points themselves.
OpTic Gaming on the other hand have – despite being in a comfortable spot – a tougher challenge ahead of them. They face Counter Logic Gaming tonight who have performed above expectations so far this season. In order for OpTic Gaming to be qualified, they need to take all 6 points away from CLG to reach the current 51 points qualification line.
