Season 7 of ESL Pro League surprisingly saw a lot of teams qualify extremely early compared to previous seasons. However, that doesn’t mean tonight’s final play day won’t deliver an exciting battle. For both the EU and NA division there is one spot left for the Pro League Finals in Dallas, Texas on May 18-20 (get your tickets now!) and several teams still have a chance to make it.
North America
To everyone’s surprise, SK Gaming is amongst the teams still fighting for their finals attendance. In today’s match against Renegades it’s all or nothing for the Brazilians. They need five points out of six to be guaranteed a spot. Otherwise, they need to rely on Luminosity Gaming to fail against NRG. LG sit two points behind SK and still have a decent chance to qualify, if SK can’t land the points. But even Rogue still have the opportunity to make it to Dallas, but need SK and LG to screw it up.
What if?
-
SK and Luminosity are tied in points?
A decider match needs to be played since both teams have a complete tie -
SK, Luminosity and Rogue are tied in points?
SK is through as all teams are tied in points in the mini league but SK have the best score -

Europe
In Europe, things will get extremely interesting. North and HellRaisers (35 points each) are seventh and eighth position right now and play each other tonight. If either team wins both matches in regulation, they have secured their tickets to Dallas. However, both Heroic and G2 Esports are ready to take their place in case the other two can’t close it out.
