The third season of Rainbow Six Pro League has ended. Against all odds, ENCE eSports defeated all of their opponents and ultimately won the last premier tournament of the year. Even though the Finnish team participated in every large event in the past two years, up until now they were never able to claim such a prestigious title. However, the curse has finally been broken.
The very first match ENCE played in São Paulo turned out to be the most challenging. The Finns faced Evil Geniuses (formerly known as Continuum) in what became the only match that didn’t end up with a 2-0 score. After that ENCE defeated the first Brazilian team, Fontt, while losing only three rounds in the entire series. Their final opponents, Black Dragons, put up a good fight, but despite a massive support from the local crowd they weren’t able to stop ENCE.
With the PENTA Sports being dethroned in Brazil, we welcome ENCE eSports as the best Rainbow Six: Siege team in the world. Can they defend their recently acquired title? We will find out soon enough at the upcoming Six Invitational finals in February.
