A New Season of CS:GO in the ESL ANZ Champs

Australia’s most-watched CS:GO league is back for Season 2.

After the success of Counter-Strike:Global Offensive (CS:GO) in Season 1 of the ESL ANZ Champs, including a finals series that saw over 100,000 unique viewers tune in each day to watch as Avant took out the championship, today we’re excited to announce the return of CS:GO for Season 2, 2020, featuring a $20,000AUD Prizepool.

Qualifier Dates

Qualifiers for Season 2 of the ESL ANZ Champs will be held across two weekends in May:

  1. Qualifier 1 (two teams qualify) - 9th & 10th of May - SIGNUP HERE
  2. Qualifier 2 (one team qualifies) - 16th & 17th of May - SIGNUP HERE

Saturday’s qualifiers will be available to cast for any interested parties, with GoTVs available publicly via the ESEA bracket. Sunday’s qualifier matches will have closed GoTVs and be streamed by ESL casters.

Regular Season

Once 3 teams have qualified through the qualifiers (two from qualifier one, and one team from qualifier 2), they will join the 5 invited teams and compete in a seven-week season, starting May 26. Each match during the season will be broadcast live from 6pm, with the full broadcast schedule below:

Following the regular season, on the 11th of July, the Grand Finals will be played to find the eventual winner of the ESL ANZ Champs in Season 2 of 2020.
