On Thursday, the Ukrainian team dAT announced that they will pull out of the CIS Qualifier for ESL One Katowice due to a scheduling conflict caused by a communication error. Following statements from both sides on the incident, we approached the team yesterday to talk with them about the situation. As outcome of the discussion we are happy to say that an agreement was reached to let the team take part in the second European Qualifier.

We reached out to Andrey from dAT yesterday to apologize for any trouble, and to let the team know that we will grant them an exception for the upcoming second European Qualification due to our mistake. The team accepted and is happy to join the qualifier to get a fair chance to play in ESL One Katowice.

We are very thankful to ESL for reconsidering their stance and granting us an exception to play in the second European Qualifier. We are humbled and beyond grateful of the response we received from our fans and the community as a whole. Your support through this entire situation was amazing and I am sure was no small part in the decision.

Additionally, we would like to announce that the final unannounced qualification slot, will be added to the upcoming second European Qualification. The addition of this slot, means the top 3 teams from the qualifier will get a spot at the offline event at the Hotel Angelo in Katowice on February 14th & 15th.

The second European Qualification will be played on Tuesday & Wednesday, 3rd & 4th of February starting at 19:00 CET on both days. Details and Signup are available on ESL Play.
