ESL Proximus Benelux Championship is back
Qualify now for CS:GO & Brawl Stars

Winter is coming… at least, our Winter season is! Our championship is a prime opportunity for players and teams to showcase their skills on the big stage and rise to the top. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Brawl Stars will be the games part of the championship so assemble your team and sign up!

We are also proud to announce that Proximus will be joining us as Naming Partner!

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

CS:GO is one the biggest esports titles in the world and has been part of the ESL Proximus Benelux Championship for 5 years now and will be part of the upcoming Winter season as well. Since last season, the Championship is part of the ESL Pro Tour. The winning team will receive a spot in the National Championship Global Playoff where various NC champions have a chance to qualify for a major EPT tournament (DreamHack Masters / Intel Extreme Masters). Next to that a prize pool of €10.000 is on offer for the top 4! In short, plenty to play for!

The upcoming Winter season of the ESL Proximus Benelux Championship will look a little bit different than what you are used to. This season the 8 teams will be playing a 2-group GSL format over 5 weeks. So how does this work? The 8 teams taking part will be divided up into 2 groups. Each group will play a GSL format [see below] over the course of 5 weeks (1 match per week). These matches are all Bo3. The winner of match 3 and the winner of match 5 qualify for playoffs.

Playoffs will remain the same as last season. This will be a single-elimination tournament with the 4 qualified teams, consisting of 2 semi-finals (Bo3) and a grand final (Bo5). This will be played offline, details TBA.

Brawl Stars

A year ago we welcomed Brawl Stars to the ESL Proximus Benelux Championship. It is one of the most popular mobile games in the world right now and it will be back for our Winter season as well. On top of being able to call themselves the ESL Proximus Benelux Championship champions, this upcoming season teams will challenge each other for a share of the €3.500 prize pool!

The format remains unchanged, which means 8 teams will play each other in a single round-robin format over the course of 7 weeks, with the top 4 advancing to the offline playoffs, consisting of 2 semi-finals and a grand final.
