2022 - S1

The very first season of ESL Impact largely took place online with regional groups throughout the SA, NA and EU regions, online regional decider matches, including wildcard qualifiers in the OCE and ZA regions, and live League Season Finals played on LAN from DreamHack Dallas. A total of 26 teams took part in the first season that featured a prize pool of $150,000.

Nigma Galaxy took home the trophy in Dallas after a 2-1 victory over FURIA. The team had a near perfect run through the entire season, never losing a single match throughout regular groups, regional deciders or during the Dallas Finals. ANa was named the tournament MVP following her impressive performance with the AWP. The League Season victory also served to sweeten the day even further for tory, who celebrated her 24th birthday with a trophy lift.
