In the past couple of weeks, the CS:GO community has been taken aback by the events around some of the biggest teams in the scene. ESL takes any cheating allegations and attempts seriously, and we’re committed to taking every measure necessary to ensure that the participants in our leagues and competitions follow the fair-play rules we have in place.
\nWhile we’re still very excited to see the first season of the ESL CS:GO Pro League kicking off soon, in the light of recent events we’ve decided to delay the start of the League by one week. Rest assured that this isn’t a move we’re taking lightly – we fully appreciate the consequences of such move, however we feel it’s necessary to revisit our existing policies and to consider updating them to be able to better deal with situations like the one we’ve seen happening in the past few weeks.
