The longest-running CS:GO league in the professional circuit celebrates its tenth anniversary returning to Odense, Denmark!
The 16 best teams from Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific will compete for the lion’s share of the $750,000 prize pool at the Jykse Bank Arena, formerly known as Sparekassen Fyn Arena, on December 6-8, 2019. In partnership with the City of Odense and Odense Sport & Event, the gaming expo ODINCON will take place parallel to the Pro League Finals for the third consecutive year.
The group stages will take place at the ODINCON expo on December 3-5, 2019 and will determine the six best teams that will proceed to the main stage for the playoffs. In 2018, Astralis won the title and became the first-ever winner of the Intel® Grand Slam in front of their home crowd. This year’s tournament again gives qualifying teams the opportunity to pull ahead in the Intel® Grand Slam Season Two standings for a chance to win the $1 million prize pool.
Celebrating the 10th season anniversary of the world’s longest-running professional league for CS:GO, the ESL Pro League Finals at Odense will be a special occasion for both players and fans.
“We are extremely proud on the overall development of the ESL Pro League,” said Ulrich Schulze, Senior Vice President of Product at ESL. “Following our great success stories and sold-out Odense tournament in 2017 and 2018, we are working hard to make the Season Ten Finals even bigger and better.”
Visitors will also be able to dive into the gaming world at ODINCON expo featuring a total exhibition space of more than 10,000 square meters alongside the playoffs. A great range of side activities will be offered, such as LAN tournaments and signing sessions with the pro players. ODINCON promises to set the bar even higher after the great success of 2018.
