Wrapping up Week 2!

Wrapping up Week 2!

ESL Southeast Europe Championship’s week two has been concluded, offering strong plays, decent macro and beautiful highlights, in all three of its games, League of Legends, Counter Strike Global Offensive and Hearthstone. Let’s have a look on how last week’s matches wrapped up.

League of Legends

In retrospective, we had the pleasure to watch high pace series, with a lot of killing, especially in the early game. In the beginning of the week, WLGaming Esports faced RIFT eSports for the top spot of Group A. The Greek squad secured the victory with 2:0 against their opponents, who showed us a problematic gameplay. Random 5 had proven that they can do great things as a team, and deliver solid performances. In their toughest of days, they overcame the defenses of Crvena Zvezda eSports, securing game 3 and their second best of 3 at Groups. Next on the “menu” for the Bulgarian team was RIFT eSports. Random 5 secured yet another three points, with a 2:0 victory over RIFT. Sunday’s matchup has been expected by lot of us, but The Teutons were unable to play. Therefore LVLup Rhinos secured their second three pointer.

Counter Strike – Global Offensive

High pace games, with clutch moments, made this week’s highlights to be remembered. JaiOnShooting completed their games with a bittersweet taste. They managed to secure a 2:0 victory over KlikTech-, but they have fallen short versus the Bulgarian powerhouse, HEADSHOTBG CS:GO. On the other hand, Nexus kept just the sweet taste, since they have won against Infamous two times this week. Primordial fought hard, but they were unable to win toxic, losing 2:0 to the Bulgarian squad.

Hearthstone

Getting back onto the Hearthstone Arena, where strategy meets luck, three interesting series have been played this week. Aubamech managed to secure the win against SomiTequila. PeraHS faced kapata, offering us some exciting series, with the Serbian player coming up victorious, with 3:2. Plavabundeva was able to overcome StefanSim’s defenses, securing a 3:2 victory and three more points.

Who is going to secure the Semifinals spots of ESL SEC?

We are going to find out this week!
