As a followup to the previously announced details regarding how the Annual Club Incentive is calculated, which can be found here, we’re today providing an update on the standings on the back of the first tournament of the year.
With Intel® Extreme Masters Katowice concluded, the first update to the Annual Club Incentive has been generated and is based on viewership data from Esports Charts.
The average concurrent viewers is based on the highest value of a team in either Stage 1 or Stage 2, only the highest and only one value per team is included. Playoffs are not included as it heavily favours those select teams advancing, these teams are already being rewarded via the Club Reward. Out of the 24 teams participating, only the top 12 ranked teams by average concurrent viewers were awarded viewership points based on the previously announced points matrix.
IEM Katowice is the first out of the annual seven events which contributes to the Annual Club Incentive and has distributed 72 viewership points out of the total 720 points available for 2025. This has produced the below standings for the moment, with the expectation that the standing changes once ESL Pro League Season 21 results are in and another 126 viewership points have been distributed.
As a reminder, the $2,950,000 allocated to the Annual Club Incentive in 2025 will be paid out in Q1 of next year to the top 16 teams with the highest contribution.
