As we head into the Easter weekend, we wanted to provide an update as the first competitions are set to begin.
Upcoming: DH SC2 Masters Summer (Full 2021/2022 schedule here)
As previously announced, we will remain realistic with our planning. The DH SC2 Masters Summer Season Finals will remain as an online global competition while we continue to evaluate Fall, Winter & the rest of the season.
As soon as it is feasible and safe to do so, we will upgrade our events back to in-person competitions.
The tournament was reduced from $500,000 to $250,000 and we've concluded on how the remaining $250,000 will be allocated.

Tiebreakers
All competitions will use ESL Open Open Cups from 2020 and 2021 will be used to decide any tiebreaker situations for non EPT Point holders.
Each regional competition will have half of the group stage re-invited from the 2020/21 EPT Standings.
To populate of groups, there will be Open and Closed Qualifiers. The Closed Qualifiers will have returning players from 2020/21 Standings invited.
All player invitations will be issued in the coming weeks ahead of qualifiers starting. More information on DH SC2 Masters Fall & Winter to be announced later.
We’ve heard the community and want to join in to help and support the competitive map pool. We are currently working closely with a few core community members and key stakeholders in order to announce our intention and involvement soon.
