We are thrilled to welcome Natus Vincere as the fifth team confirmed to compete at ESL One Cologne 2017. Together with 15 other teams from around the world, including FNATIC, FaZe Clan, SK Gaming and Virtus.pro, Na'Vi will fight to break their ESL One Cologne quarterfinal curse and to lift the trophy at LANXESS Arena.

As mentioned above, Na'Vi seems to be under a quarterfinal curse when it comes to ESL One Cologne as they finished at 5-8th place in 2014, 2015 and 2016, losing to FNATIC, ENVYUS and Liquid respectively. They did get 2nd place at the DreamHack Cluj-Napoca and MLG Majors but again 5-8th at the most recent ELEAGUE Major. The team's only roster change in the past year was quite significant as Zeus was replaced by s1mple. With the new lineup, Na'Vi took victory at ESL One New York and lifted the trophy at Barclays Arena. The team's most recent LAN results have been average, as they reached quarterfinals in DreamHack Las Vegas and IEM World Championship Katowice. At the moment, Na'Vi is competing at the StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 and are sitting with two wins and zero losses which is a very promising start.
