ESL One returns to the LANXESS Arena this July with the world's biggest CS:GO event and world's best teams competing for glory, ESL One Cologne championship and a share of a US$250,000 prize pool. Twelve teams received direct invitations: FNATIC, Virtus.pro, SK Gaming, FaZe Clan, Immortals, Cloud9, mousesports, OpTic Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas, G2 Esports, North and Natus Vincere. This stacked lineup will be joined by four more teams determined through qualifiers.
The EU closed qualifier will take place on May 20th and May 21st with two teams securing a slot in the main event. The participating teams are as follows:

The winners of each semifinal qualify for ESL One Cologne 2017.
The North American qualifier will take place on May 20th and will have one ESL One Cologne slot allocated for the winning team. The participants are as follows:
