Swedish legends enter the fray - welcome FNATIC to ESL One Cologne 2017!
FNATIC once again return to Cologne looking to once again claim the ESL One trophy they last lifted in 2015.

We are happy to announce that Swedish CS:GO legends of FNATIC will be joining the ESL One Cologne 2017 team lineup! One of the most accomplished professional CS:GO teams will join Virtus.pro, SK Gaming, FaZe Clan and 12 other teams from around the world in the battle for the coveted ESL One trophy and a share of a US$250,000 prize pool.

FNATIC's last tournament win was at IEM World Championship Katowice in Season 10, where they beat Luminosity (now SK Gaming) 3-0, claiming their second Katowice trophy in a row. Since then, the team took a couple of top 4 finishes, like at the ESL Pro League Season 3 finals or ESL One Cologne 2016. FNATIC also went through some intense and interesting roster changes with KRIMZ, flusha and JW leaving last August to join GODSENT. A couple of player shuffles later, FNATIC are now back to the roster they had in Katowice 2015.

The team's most recent LAN performances haven't been too impressive. They did not advance from the group stage at DreamHack Las Vegas and finished the event with a 1-2 score. Similar situation took place at IEM World Championship Katowice, where they took fourth place in their group with a 2-3 score and didn't get to play in the Spodek arena.

Despite their recent results, FNATIC should never be underestimated as the players proved several times they can be among the world's very best. Can the team once again claim the ESL One trophy they last lifted in 2015?

See you in Cologne!

We now have four teams confirmed for the event: FNATIC, FaZe, Virtus.pro and SK. There are still 8 invites and 4 teams from qualifiers to go! Be sure to be among the roaring crowd that will once again fill LANXESS Arena - get your ticket here!
