ESL One Cologne 2015, the next CS:GO Major Championship, will have three, separate Offline Qualifiers to determine which teams will face the Legends, in Cologne, Germany, from August 20th to August 23rd. Today, we'd like to give you all the details about the North American Offline Qualifier and how teams can participate in it.
The North American Offline Qualifier will take place on August 1st and 2nd in the ESL Studio in Burbank, California.
A total of eight teams will participate in the North American Offline Qualifier, with the top two teams qualifying for ESL One Cologne 2015.
The eight teams participating in North American Offline Qualifier will qualify through the following ways:
- Four slots - Invite
- Four slots - Open Online Qualifier

Invites
The teams invited to the North American Offline Qualifier have proven their strength in the ESL ESEA Pro League. The four teams have risen to the top of the league, and crowned themselves as the strongest in America. The invites will be based on the ranking of the North American teams at the end of the first season of the ESL ESEA Pro League.

*In the case that a team that has already qualified for ESL One Cologne, the team holding the next highest seed will take their place
Open Qualifier
Four slots for the North American Offline Qualifier
June 27th to 28th
The open qualifier will decide four slots for the North American Offline Qualifier. The teams will face off in a single elimination, "Best of 3" format, to determine who amongst them will head to the North American Offline Qualifier.
