FLuffy Gangsters and Team Empire are coming to the ESL One Cologne offline qualifier
The results of the CIS Minor are in and three more Minors are coming up soon!

Last weekend, the CIS Minor for ESL One Cologne 2016 took place in Moscow which decided the first two qualified teams for the upcoming offline qualifier for the next CS:GO Major. While some bigger names of the CIS scene fell short during the Minor, some fresh faces turned up big. Check out how the tournament went down and the first teams earned their spots for the offline qualifier.

Group A’s FLuffy Gangsters and Team Empire were the two teams to stand out in the crowd and take the spots to the offline qualifier by storm. While kUcheRs Emprie needed to come back from an opening loss, FLuffy Gangsters and them won their group and bested the teams from Group B in the playoffs, beating Worst Players including DavCost and kibaken, to make one more step towards playing at ESL One Cologne this July.

The road to Cologne

Three more Minor Championships are still to be played, determining the remaining six teams for the offline qualifier coming from Asia (5th to 8th of May), Europe (14th to 16th of May) and the Americas (19th to 22nd of May). The top two from each of the Minors will join the bottom eight from Columbus to fight over the eight open slots to ESL One Cologne 2016.

  • Asia Minor winner (5th to 8th of May)
  • Asia Minor runner-up (5th to 8th of May)
