Important information regarding public transportation for Frankfurt

25.06.2014
If you are heading down to ESL One Frankfurt this weekend and will be using the public transportation be sure to check out this information.

If you bought a ticket for ESL One Frankfurt, you are entitled to free public transportation as per the rules of this ticket type:

http://www.rmv.de/en/Fahrkarten/Die_richtige_Fahrkarte/Fahrkarten_im_Ueberblick/SpezialFahrkarten/KombiTickets/41930/KT_UR_Frankfurt_Eintracht.html

However, this requires each one of you to carry a personalized ticket - meaning your full name has to be on the ticket and you have to carry your ID with you in case your ticket gets checked.

There are two possibilities

1. You only bought a single ticket with your order.

The easiest one - just make sure that your personal name is on the ticket and you have your ID with you.

2. You bought several tickets with your order.

This is unfortunately more complicated. Eventbrite only allows one name per order, meaning there is the same name on all tickets. However, you can change the name on the ticket as often as you want to. So you will have to take the following steps.

a) Adjust the name of your ticket order.
b) Print out all the tickets.
c) Repeat these two steps for all of the people you bought a ticket for.
d) Everybody takes one ticket with their name on it.
e) Make sure you do not use the same ticket twice at the entry gate (ticket numbers need to be different)

We are sorry if this causes any inconvenience, but we were just informed that the ticket checks in public transportation might be very strict and we would like to avoid our visitors having any issues when travelling to the event. We are still working with the public transportation company to sort this out, but we would like to be safe rather than sorry.

If you have any problems getting this done, please write to tickets(at)eslone.com and we will help you.

Thank you and see you at the event!
