Getting to the Commerzbank-Arena

By car:

If you are coming from outside Frankfurt, take the A3 or A5 motorway to Frankfurter Kreuz. From there, follow the signs with the stadium on them that will lead you to four parking lots.

Coming from the city of Frankfurt, cross the Main into Sachsenhausen, then take Kennedyallee out of the city to Oberforsthaus. There you will see signs to the parking lots. Only Gleisdreieck will be available for parking.

Parking will cost 5 Euro.

NOTE: If you are attending ESL One Frankfurt by car, be sure to read up about the special low emission zones. More information can be found on the official Frankfurt city website.

By train:

From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, take the S8 or S9 suburban line in the direction of Mainz or Wiesbaden from the lower level of Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to the ‘Stadion’ stop. Ticket holders will be able to use regional trains in the RMV(Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund) zone for free on each day.

Entering and exiting the venue

Attendees of ESL One Frankfurt will be able to exchange their tickets for wristbands starting at 09:00 local time on Saturday June 28th. Doors to the event will open at 10:00 on both days.

You will be able to exchange your tickets throughout the entire event. Once you have received your wristband you will be able to enter and exit the venue to your pleasing. Please ensure that you either have a printed ticket or the QR code on it readily available to ensure your entry to the event.

We will only be using entrances E1 and E5 and the Gleisdreieck parking

 First you will have to get your ticket scanned to receive a wristband at the ticket stand.

 Afterwards you will be able to enter through the security checkpoint.

What are the seating arrangements?

The viewing area will be split up into three different areas: Standard, Early bird and Premium. Premium ticket holders will have access to both the Regular and Premium seating area. Early bird ticket holders will have access to the Standard and Early bird seating area. Standard ticket holders will have access to the Standard seating area. There is no seat assignment in any area.

Can I buy a ticket at the door?

Tickets will still be available for purchase at the door, these will be a little bit more expensive than the current tickets. A day ticket will cost €25 and a weekend ticket will cost €40.

Can I smoke at ESL One Frankfurt?

Smoking will not be allowed inside of the venue. You will be able to leave the arena and enter again afterwards. E-cigarettes are included in this rule.

What about food and drinks?

You are not allowed to bring your own food to the event. Water in tetra paks up to 0.5l will be allowed. Throughout the entire event food and drinks will be available at reasonable prices, vegetarian options included. Alcoholic beverages will be available to those age 16 or higher. Premium ticket holders will have food and drinks available throughout the entire day.

What about rain?

The stadium roof will be closed throughout the entire event so bad weather will have no effect on your experience at ESL One Frankfurt.

What language will be commentated in?

The audience at ESL One Frankfurt will come from all over the world so we have decided to make English the main language at the event.

What can I buy at the event?

Multiple shops will be available at the event. Next to the official Secret Shop, ESL and GameLegends will also have their own shops spread around the venue. At the secret shop you will be able to purchase both new and old Dota 2 merchandise. GameLegends will also bring their new merchandise to the event and ESL will have some special event merchandise for sale.  Attendees will also be able to visit booths from multiple companies at the event and shop at them.

I am a premium ticket holder, where can I get my goodie bag?

Premium ticket holders will be able to collect their goodie bag at the premium area entrance.

Signing sessions and workshops

During the event, multiple signing session and community artist workshops will be held. These will take place at the community stage. Any changes to the official schedule will be announced at the event.

Pre-event meetup

On Friday June 27th there will be a pre-event meetup at the Long Island Summer Lounge in Frankfurt. Meet your fellow event attendees and get to know each other before the event starts. More information can be found in the meetup announcement.

Afterparty

ESL One Frankfurt will finish in style with a great afterparty, more information on this will follow!
