The Mercedes-Benz MVP of ESL One Hamburg 2017 has been crowned!
After thousands of fan votes, as well as votes from our on-site experts, Virtus.pro’s Solo went home with a brand new Mercedes-Benz.

ESL One Hamburg 2017 powered by Intel, the first Major of this competitive season, is now behind us. After a few days of hard-fought matches, and world-class Dota 2 action, Virtus.pro were crowned as the champions in front of a roaring crowd in the Barclaycard Arena.

Mercedes-Benz MVP

Besides the coveted trophy, the prize money, and the circuit points, there was one more amazing prize to be won. A brand new Mercedes-Benz was to be awarded to the player deemed the most valuable of the entire tournament. The decision was made by fans and experts together, and they decided that the player worthy of the MVP title as well as a new Mercedes-Benz was no other than Solo from the, now champions, Virtus.pro.

Both the community and our experts were in unity on this one, as the majority of both groups voted for Solo.

We caught up with our @MercedesBenz MVP after @virtuspro's amazing grand final performance.

Solo's win is a perfect example of how persistence and hard work pay off, and that support players can get the recognition they deserve. Huge congratulations to him and thanks to everyone who voted!

Winner of the Prediction Vote

Before the MVP voting began, we held a prediction stage, where fans could predict who would become the Mercedes-Benz MVP, for a chance of winning two premium tickets and hotel stay for ESL One Katowice taking place this February. We are happy to announce that out of the fans who predicted correctly, the winner is dzeks6! Congratulations and we will see you in the Spodek arena!

See you soon!

Next stop for us will be ESL One Genting powered by Intel on January 26-28 (tickets available), followed by Katowice powered by Intel, a Major taking place on February 24-25.
