Here are your 24 teams attending the first ESL Pro Tour Championship event of the year, Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025.
Each team has been invited based on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) Invitation data as of January 6, 2025. The 8 highest-ranked VRS teams will start the tournament directly in Stage 2, while the next 16 VRS teams will compete in Stage 1 in a double-elimination bracket.
With Imperial Fe entering the competition, this will mark the first time in history of a women's team participating in an EPT Championship event.

Each team has received their invite based on their rosters stated in the VRS.
Note: the final roster submission deadline for all teams is January 15, 2025.
For a team to be eligible to accept their invitation they must retain a majority roster. In this case there are some notable points to consider when looking at the invited teams.
- Team Falcons have been invited as they have acquired majority roster of HEROIC (VRS Rank 8).
- FURIA Esports (VRS Rank 10) and FURIA FE (VRS Rank 24) both qualified for IEM Katowice. Due to only being able to field 1 team in the competition, they have decided to go with FURIA Esports.
- HEROIC have acquired majority roster of Sangal Esports (VRS Rank 25), and are the next eligible VRS team to replace FURIA FE.
