In 2024, IEM Katowice returns to the Spodek Arena to host 24 teams and thousands of passionate fans for one of the most epic tournaments in the calendar. THE FREE EXPO RETURNS
Along IEM Katowice, The IEM Expo returns as well and is accessible without a ticket. It's completely free to enter. Play games yourself, enjoy the latest gaming technology, and win awesome prizes in sponsor activations. Additionally, Expo visitors can enter the Spodek Arena on a first come first serve basis.
Please note that the minimum age to attend this event is 16+. Between 4 and 13 years of age, you must be accompanied by your parents. If you are between 13 and 15 years old, you need written consent from your parents. Children 3 years are not allowed to attend the event.

FAQs
Will there be a SC2 event?
We are currently working on all details of IEM SC2 Katowice and will communicate more updates soon. As always, keep your eyes on our social channels to be the first to know
Will there be free seats that don't require a ticket like in previous years?
Yes! There will be limited seats for EXPO visitors without a ticket.
Access to the EXPO is free! Access to the IEM tournament can only be granted as long as the capacity of the free area is reached. To secure a seat, opt for a ticket in Spodek arena.
Is there an age requirement?
The minimum age of entering the event alone (without a guardian or without parental consent) is 16. However persons between 13 and 16 years of age, need to bring a written consent letter from their parent or legal guardian. Persons below 13 can only enter the event accompanied by a responsible adult.
Do all tickets guarantee a seat?
Yes. In our new model, all tickets guarantee a seat in a suitable sector.

What language will the Spodek Arena show be in?
Katowice main events have always been commentated in English and that won't change in 2023.
When does the ticket sale start?
There are three ticketing waves in total:
Wave 1 - September 21st 15:00 CEST
Wave 2 - October 11th 15:00 CEST
Wave 3 - November 15th 15:00 CET
In each wave, we will release a limited capacity of tickets. If you couldn't get one in the first wave, try your luck in the second one.
With each wave, prices will go up.
