From October 31st to November 13th Brazil's first-ever CS:GO Major will take place in the heart of South America: Rio de Janeiro! 24 teams will compete at IEM Rio 2022 for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to play in front of the most passionate crowd in all of esports. And we are taking the fan experience to the next level: 

  • MORE DAYS: We are increasing the live audience experience from 4 to 12 days by playing both the Challengers (Oct. 31 - Nov. 03) and Legends Stage (Nov. 05 - 08) in front of a crowd at Riocentro in Hall 6. The Champions Stage (Nov. 10 - 13) will take place at Jeunesse Arena.
  • MORE CS:GO: In order to almost double the number of tickets for the Jeunesse Arena, we
    will enhance our stage layout to a 360° center stage - the first in ESL CS:GO history.
  • MORE FANS: Together with Gaules, we are hosting a massive Fan Fest outside of Jeunesse Arena, with thousands of fans watching the Champions Stage matches live on a big screen.

Challengers & Legends with a Crowd

The Challengers and Legends Stage of the Major will be played in front of a live audience across 8 days at the Riocentro Arena, increasing the audience experience from 4 to 12 full days! ! Gaules & the Tribe will be an integrated part of the on-site experience.

The Challengers Stage will span from the 31 Oct - 03 Nov and the Legends Stage from Nov 5 - Nov 8

Please note that tickets to the Challengers & Legends stage will not grant access for the in-arena Event in Jeunesse or the Fan Fest for the Champions stage.

In order to accommodate more fans in the Jeunesse Arena during the Champions Stage, we are opting for a 360° center stage for Brazil's first CS:GO Major this November.

Tickets for the Jeunesse In-Arena event will grant you access to the Fan Fest only for the date(s) on your Jeunesse ticket. However, there may be additional wait time on entrance dependant on capacity.

Tickets for Jeunesse in-arena event will not allow access to the Challengers & Legends stage in RioCentro Hall 6.

During the Champions Stage, the final weekend, we will host a massive Fan Fest ft. Gaules outside of the Jeunesse Arena to accommodate every Brazilian fan who wants to be a part of the Major. Join Gaules and thousands of other fans to watch the matches outside on a big screen, gear up in your favorite team's colors at the ESL Shop, win awesome prizes at our partner booths, and enjoy a wide variety of food and drink offerings. Visit the team booths to meet the org, players, and creators, and get your favorite item signed.

Please note that a ticket to the Fan Fest will not allow access to the Jeunesse in-arena event or the Challengers & Legends stage in RioCentro Hall 6.

No, we want to offer a chance to attend the event for as many people as possible, instead of offering ticket passes that cover the whole 12-days tournament.

Everyone who wants to attend all days, will have to get multiple 4-day passes for the individual major stages.

Unfortunately, no. There is no way for us to change the status of a ticket from refunded & canceled back to valid.

Yes! The change from ESL One to Intel Extreme Masters is following our 2021 announcement of continuing our partnership with Intel.
This does not affect your ticket in any way. All tickets that were not refunded are still valid for the same days & categories of the event.

Yes, tickets for the Jeunesse Arena do allow access to the Fan Fest. However, it doesnt work the other way around: If you only purchase a ticket for the Fan Fest, you will not be able to enter the Jeunesse arena.

However, there may be additional wait time on entrance dependant on capacity. If you want to make sure to get access without waiting, you can purchase dedicated Fan Fest tickets starting September 15th at 15:00 BRT here.

Yes! You can request a refund in your eventbrite account you used to order the tickets with. Refunds are open until July 30th 2022.

This only applies for tickets bought in 2019 and 2020. All tickets bought in 2022 are not eligable for a refund.

The commentary language inside the arena will be portuguese. For the online viewers, our main stream will be in english but there will overall be a large variety of partnering streams and languages.

We will follow the local restrictions & regulations at the time of the event.

Yes, you can bring snacks and soft drinks into the venue. All items must be sealed before entering, any open items will be disposed of at the entrance.
You cannot bring alcoholic beverages into the venue.

There are some fast food restaurants spread in the arena.

We allow backpacks since the days are so long, we only potentially require short backpack checks when entering the venue

We only allow Press/Media and backstage crew to take professional cameras inside the venue.

Only personal belongings as cellphone, backpack, clothes. Umbrellas or sharp objects are not allowed.
