No Ticket Needed
You don't need a ticket to join the Expo. Also, there are free areas inside the Spodek arena where you can enjoy the CS:GO event even though you don't have a ticket.
Yes, you read that right! After 3 years of absence, the IEM Expo is back and opens for visitors. The best part of it: It's completely free to enter. Only to mention some highlights, the IEM Expo will host ESL R1 sim racing, the StarCraft II Championship, and ESL Impact, the all women's CS:GO competition. Play games yourself, enjoy the latest gaming technology and win awesome prizes in sponsor activations. Additionally, Expo visitors can enter the Spodek Arena on a first come first serve basis.
Please note that the minimum age to attend this event is 16+. Between 4 and 13 years of age, you must be accompanied by your parents. If you are between 13 and 15 years old, you need written consent from your parents. Children 3 years are not allowed to attend the event.

The pick-up point for goodie bags for the CS:GO competition will be at Gate 5 of the Spodek Arena.
Security Check
There will be a security bag check at the entrance of the arena. Alcohol, articles prohibited by law and any other items we deem inappropriate are not allowed. In the next step, you will proceed to get your ticket scanned.
Can I bring food to the venue? Can I buy food inside?
Yes you can bring your own food, or buy something inside, there will be also food truck zone for Spodek and MCK. You can not bring your own drinks.

Located near the A4 & A1 highways there are several car parks located very close to the venue.

FAQs
What are the COVID restriction for the event?
We will follow the local restrictions at the time of the event.
I want to visit both CS:GO and SC2, do I have to purchase two tickets?
Yes, a CS:GO ticket for the Spodek Arena only grants you access to secured seating for the CS:GO competition which happens in Spodek arena.
In order to enjoy the SC2 competition, you will need a separate SC2 ticket. This will grant you access to better seating at the SC2 competition at the Expo.
Will there be free seats that don't require a ticket like in previous years?
Yes! There will be limited seats for EXPO visitors without a ticket.
Access to the EXPO is free! Access to the IEM tournament can only be granted as long as the capacity of the free area is reached. To secure a seat, opt for a ticket in Spodek arena.
Is there an age requirement?
The minimum age of entering the event alone (without a guardian or without parental consent) is 16. However persons between 13 and 16 years of age, need to bring a written consent letter from their parent or legal guardian. Persons below 13 can only enter the event accompanied by a responsible adult.
Do all tickets guarantee a seat?
Yes. In our new model, all tickets guarantee a seat in a suitable sector. Only at the free EXPO seating is limited and first come first serve.

What language will the Spodek Arena, MCK and EXPO show be in?
Katowice main events have always been commentated in English and that won't change in 2023.
Katowice Checkpoints
What exactly are Checkpoints?
Checkpoints are free, digital souvenirs accompanying all ESL Pro Tour events. For IEM Katowice 2023, all attendees as well as everyone watching from home can claim their free souvenir that serves as a lifelong reminder that you were a part of esport history. Please note that these are not in-game items, but stored in your personal Loadout library.
Will there be more Checkpoints in the future?
Yes, we will be releasing more Checkpoints to collect at all future ESL Pro Tour events. So make sure to start collecting now and track your esports journey.
How do I receive my QR code to scan and receive my Checkpoint collectible?
All purchased tickets for Spodek Arena will receive a dedicated email on February 10th, including a QR-Code that you scan with the Kolex Collectibles-App.
I am attending to Katowice 2023, but I didn't get an email with the QR-Code. Please help!
QR codes will be sent out on February 10th, 2023 to the email address used to purchase a ticket. If your friend bought your ticket, please contact them to share one of the QR codes with you. If this still does not work, you can claim your IEM Katowice 2023 Checkpoint by sending an email with your name and a picture of your ticket to csgo@eslgaming.com.
