All teams were invited based on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) as of February 3, 2025. The 16 teams will be split into two double elimination groups of 8, with the top 3 teams from each group heading into Rod Laver Arena.

Roster Submission deadline: 7th April 2025
For a team to be eligible to accept their invitation they must retain a majority roster. In this case there are some notable points to consider when looking at the invited teams.
G2 Esports (VRS 2), Furia Esports (VRS 11) and Astralis (VRS 15) have all declined their invites to the event and were replaced by Pain Gaming (VRS 16), MIBR (VRS 17) and BIG (VRS 18).
