Here are your 16 teams that are attending the final Intel® Extreme Masters tournament of 2025 in Chengdu, China.
All teams were invited based on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) as of August 4, 2025. The 16 teams will compete in 2 double elimination groups of 8, where the top 3 three teams from each group will make their way to the arena and compete for the $1,000,000 Total Winnings as well as a title in the race for the ESL Grand Slam.
Aurora Gaming (VRS11) and GamerLegion (VRS14) have both declined their invitation to IEM Chengdu with Virtus.pro (VRS17) and HEROIC (VRS18) being the next eligible teams inline for the invites based on VRS.
