This Privacy Notice explains why and how we process your personal data related to the ESL Impact League broadcast.

When we refer to “you” in this Privacy Notice, we refer to you as a data subject.
When you (apply to) broadcast the ESL Impact League, ESL FACEIT GROUP GER GmbH decides the reasons for processing your personal data, and how to process it. This is known as the controller. When we speak of “us” in this Privacy Notice, we refer to ourselves as the controller.

Personal data we may process from you when you communicate with us
Purpose: We process your personal data to communicate with you and to respond to all your requests and enquiries.
Data: If we communicate with you, we process all personal data you disclose to us during our conversation (such as your name, email address, Discord ID, the reason why you are contacting us, your messages etc.).
ESL Impact League Broadcasters List
Purpose: We process the personal data you provide for the purpose of organizing and managing the broadcasting of the ESL Impact League (among other things, to consider whether you are capable to be an ESL Impact League Broadcaster; to identify you as an ESL Impact League Broadcaster; to make sure you comply with ESL Impact Broadcasting Guidelines (our rules); to be able to contact you as such a partner or talent; for broadcasting preparation and planning; to share new opportunities with you; for you to get our asset package, and stream the matches on your channel; and for assessment of a product or service, i.e. product KPI´s (Key Performance Indicators) that will need to be provided at the end of each season).
Data: You can voluntarily sign up to our ESL Impact League Broadcasters List (“List”). When you sign up, we collect your email address, alias, broadcasting platform (Twitch / Youtube), personal broadcasting platform URL, language you broadcast in, whether you attended ESL events in the past, Discord ID, whether you represent a teams organization (if so, the organization’s name) or whether you are a freelance broadcaster, your social media profiles, and what motivates you to be ESL Impact Broadcaster.
Legal basis: As it is necessary for our legitimate interests, namely to organize and manage the broadcasting of ESL Impact League.
EFG Group
The companies in our group collaborate closely with each other to share resources and for improved efficiency. Part of this may involve the sharing of your data between the group (e.g. for the purpose of suggesting you as a community broadcaster for further opportunities), and to govern such data flows securely and in compliance with data protection laws, the EFG Group has in place an intercompany data protection agreement. The intercompany data protection agreement sets out the different roles and responsibilities of the EFG companies. Please see section “EFG Group company information“ for more information on the EFG entities.

Legal basis: our legal basis for this processing is likely to be: our legitimate interests pursued would typically include our interest (and that of our shareholders) in negotiating and concluding the relevant transaction, and our interest (and that of our users) in financing the business and ensuring the development and continuity of our business.where required by law, government, competent authorities or the courts or to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights, and for the purposes of preventing crime and fraud. Our legal basis for this processing is likely to be: to comply with a with legal obligation, or as it is necessary for our legitimate interests, namely for (i) obtaining advice in relation to legal and similar proceedings; (ii) communicating with relevant third parties in relation to legal and similar proceedings; and/or (iii) protecting and defending ourselves from legal and similar proceedings;
We regularly collaborate with an international network of EFG companies and partners and subcontractors based in different countries. As such, personal data we collect may be transferred, and stored and processed outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK in a country in which we or our companies, partners or subcontractors maintain facilities. We will ensure that transfers of personal data to a third country or an international organisation are subject to appropriate safeguards (in accordance with data protection laws).
For transfers between EFG companies, the EFG group intercompany data protection agreement (see Disclosures) contains Standard Contractual Clauses provided by the European Commission to govern data flows from EFG companies established within the UK, EU or the EEA to EFG companies established outside of the UK, EU or EEA.
We regularly review our Privacy Notice to make sure it is kept up-to-date and compliant with new legislation. We reserve the right to make any changes. You can check when the Privacy Notice was last amended by looking at the date at the start of the document.
