The Season 2 finals of the ESL ESEA Pro League are set to take place on December the 10th to December the 13th in the ESL studios in Burbank, USA. Eight top teams from Europe and North America will be traveling to sunny California to battle it out for the Pro League Season 2 championship, and it’s now time to present the groups and format of the tournament.
The format
The tournament format has been adjusted since last season in response to feedback from pro players and the community. The finals will start off with a group stage with two groups of four teams. The matches will be best of three played out in double elimination. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will be single elimination. The semifinals will be best of three while the grand final will be a best of five.

The groups for the finals are based on the team placement in the season standings of each division and are as follows:

The battle commences in December!
