After almost nine intense weeks of competition in the ESL Pro League the very first team has qualified for the Season 5 Finals in Dallas, Texas. North have been looking strong throughout the entire season and closed out their series against Ninjas in Pyjamas with dominating 16:1 and 16:3 victories today to guarantee their participation in the playoffs. With just a week until IEM Sydney, this means the team can now look ahead to an amazing event in Australia without having to worry about their ESL Pro League finals spot any longer.
However, the competition is not over just yet for North. If they pull off another 2-0 victory against the Polish powerhouse Virtus.pro, the Danish squad can also lock in first seed for the European division. FaZe, Na’Vi, and mouz can still contest that first seed at the current state of the rankings. Tune in tomorrow at 5PM CEST for the battle between Natus Vincere and mousesports, which could be a determining factor in the race for first place!
