All teams were invited based on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) as of February 3, 2025. The 8 teams advancing directly to the Group Stage include the top-5 teams from Europe and the top-1 teams from North America, South America, and Asia.
European Closed Qualifier includes 10 VRS invites (6th-15th), Closed Qualifiers for North America, South America and Asia include 2 VRS invites (2nd-3rd) each.

Each team has received their invite based on their rosters stated in the VRS.
Note: the final roster submission deadline for all teams is May 5, 2025.
Teams that declined their invites have been replaced by the following team in the VRS ranking. In this case there are some notable points to consider when looking at the invited teams.
Main Event
- Team Spirit (VRS Rank 1) declined the invite to the main event, Eternal Fire (VRS Rank 7) were invited and accepted.
- Natus Vincere (VRS Rank 6) declined the invite to the main event, MOUZ (VRS Rank 8) were invited and accepted.
Closed Qualifiers
- Virtus.pro (VRS Rank 12) declined the EU Closed Qualifier invite, Imperial Female (VRS Rank 26) were invited but declined. SAW (VRS Rank 28) were then invited but also declined. The next eligible invite went to Nemiga Gaming (VRS Rank 30), who accepted.
- Wildcard Gaming VRS Rank 19) were invited to the EU Closed Qualifier but declined, Metizport (VRS Rank 31) accepted the invite.
- Complexity (VRS Rank 22) declined the invite to the NA Closed Qualifier, BOSS (VRS Rank 50) accepted the invite as the next in line with an NA VRS Core.
- paiN Gaming (VRS Rank 16) declined the invite to the SA Closed Qualifier, FURIA FE (VRS Rank 24) were invited but declined. YNG Sharks (VRS Rank 36) were invited and accepted.
- MIBR (VRS Rank 17) declined the invite to the SA Closed Qualifier, Fluxo (VRS Rank 37) were invited and accepted.
