What we witnessed and experienced in 2022 was truly a spectacle unlike any other in esports. We decided we had to return in 2023 - and that’s what we’re doing.
The Jeunesse Arena will quake once more with the rumble of thousands of fans. The Intel Extreme Masters returns to Rio de Janeiro with its signature ESL Pro Tour Masters event.
Immerse yourself in the ultimate CS:GO spectacle, showcasing 16 elite teams, a $250,000 prize pool and an Intel® Grand Slam contribution to the champions. We invite you to submerge yourself in the Jeunesse Arena in an atmosphere that only those who experience it can understand its clamorous passion.
Tips to secure a ticket
You may remember, thousands of tickets for the on-sales in 2019 and 2022 sold out immediately, even though we are in Rio's biggest indoor arena.
Our advice:
Commentary in the arenas and outside will be in brasilian portuguese.
The viewing experience comes first! While the center stage at the 2022 Major looked great on stream and inside the arena, we noticed some flaws in the viewing experience for some seating areas. For IEM Rio 2023, we are switching to a front stage that ensures a fantastic viewing experience for every attendee.
Please note that the minimum age to attend this event is 12+.
In all cases, IDs are required - also for 18+.
Attendees below 16 need a written authorization from their parents and either their parents or a legal guardian (18+) need to attend the event as well - additionally, this written authorization needs to be notarized.
This written authorization is only needed if the parents are not also at the event.

When collecting fan feedback after the IEM Rio 2022 Major, we noticed that the center stage we had in use in 2022 led to some disadvantages in the viewer experience for some seating areas in the venue.
The viewing experience is most important for us. In order to deliver a fantastic experience for every single fan, we decided to use a front stage for IEM Rio 2023.
Please read through the following information on Eventim, for more half-ticket information.
The half-ticket discount only applies on the ticket for the seating and the access to the event. The 3-day plus ticket is a package made of the 3-day regular ticket and additional merchandise (t-shirt and coin). As merchandise is not a component of the reduced half-ticket price, the reduced price is not available for the Plus category.
The half-ticket discount only applies to access to the event itself in the respective seating category. As the discount does not apply to merchandise (coin, t-shirt, badge) and additional features (signing sessions), these features are not included in the reduced half-ticket.
However we have added the value of merchandise to the half-ticket so everyone can enjoy the premium experience.
"Premium without Experience" will still give you infield seats but without the extra merchandise & perks found in the full package.
