The 2025/2026 Season
The International Playoffs are about to begin, to close out another incredible year of professional Dota.
With that in mind, we wanted to share more information about what you can expect from our ESL Pro Tour events in the upcoming 2025/2026 season, going into more detail to give everyone (especially our friends at Liquipedia) a better understanding of what you can look forward to.
Our upcoming EPT Season features a stacked schedule of events with the introduction of the DreamLeague Division 2 Stages, starting with our qualifiers in September and closing out with the Esports World Cup once more ahead of next years TI.

Our Tournaments
One thing that we wanted to focus on ahead of the next ESL Pro Tour season is tier 2 scene development, creating more paths for pros just starting out to get a taste of the future ahead of them and more opportunities for them to receive financial security in pursuing their dreams.
That's why it's important for us that DreamLeague Division 2 doesn't just have its own prizepools, but gives the top performing teams the chance to qualify directly to DreamLeague Season 27 and 29 - guaranteeing a higher payout, and tougher opponents to help them improve even more.

Swiss Earnings
Each series win in the Swiss Stage of the event will be worth $3,500 and 100 EPT points, and any team that doesn't qualify to the playoffs will receive only the money from each of these Swiss Stage series wins.
For the top 8 playoffs teams, they will also earn a fixed amount based on placement as shown above, as well as the earnings from their Swiss stage performance.
The prize money for the Swiss Stage of the event is $252,000.
