With the next Season of ESL Pro League about to commence, we are happy to announce YouTube as the exclusive partner for the English-language broadcast of both the upcoming fifth as well as sixth season. Other language broadcasts such as Russian, Portuguese, French and Polish will continue being streamed across multiple additional platforms.
We will be celebrating the new partnership, by streaming a re-run of one season final (Seasons 1-4) per weekend on ESL’s Counter-Strike YouTube channel starting Friday, January 13.
Featuring 28 of the world’s best teams spread across a North American and European division, the 2017 total Pro League prize pool will be an incredible US$2 million (US$1 million per season). Starting February 7th the participating teams will compete for their chance to be a part of the Season 5 offline Finals in the United States at the Verizon Theatre in Dallas, Texas on 3rd and 4th of June. With Cloud9 having secured the title for North America back in October 2016, it will be interesting to see if the North American division can overcome the European powerhouses once more!

The season finals broadcast will include all matches, pre-game analysis, interviews, live matches, and other unique ways to watch Pro League content in 360/VR video. Starting with Season 6, content will be presented in 1080p @ 60fps, with DVR functionality.
