Background
After several discussions with Echo Fox over the past weeks, the team’s management has informed the League that Echo Fox is not able to provide a line-up for ESL Pro League Season 5.
Ruling
Following the missing line-up, team Echo Fox forfeits their League License and will not be part of ESL Pro League Season 5. This leaves the North American Division with an open spot. Therefore, the next team from relegation will be moved into Pro League as well to complete the NA division.
Given there is no obvious next ranked team from relegation there will be a decider match between Splyce and Selfless Gaming for the remaining spot in Pro League Season 5. The match will be played as a Best of Three (BO3) decider today, Thursday, February 2nd at 9pm EST.
