We are halfway into the first season of the ESL ESEA Pro League. As the teams fight it out for the top spots in the league, we would like to shed some light on what exactly are they fighting for.
The ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 features a prize money total of $500,000 distributed as follows:
- $250,000 is split amongst the European and North American division as prize money based on the team's ranking at the end of the season.
- $250,000 will be up for grabs at the ESL ESEA Pro League finals.
- Additionally, the 8 teams that qualify for the ESL ESEA Pro League finals will receive full travel support.
The European and North American division will each have $125,000 prize money based on season rankings. The distribution will be as follows:

The top four teams in each division will make their way to the ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 finals in Cologne, Germany. There they will fight it out for their share of the $250,000 prize pool. The ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 finals prize pool will be distributed as follows:
