ESL Pro League returns for season 7 on February 13th with Europe's and North America's best teams competing for a prize pool of US$1,000,000, and the coveted slots in the season finals taking place in May.
There are a few rule changes to be introduced, before we kick off the first matches in just a couple of weeks:
- It is no longer possible to down/up from/to academy teams
- A loan exception was added in national competitions
- The Emergency Transfer rule was modified to allow transfers in special circumstances that otherwise would be prohibited
- A Roster Submission Deadline has been added (it has been extended to the 7th of February to give teams that attended the Boston Major more time)
