Since Season 15, the ESL Pro League has grown to feature 34 teams from around the world and new and exciting new stage of the tournament. Season 15 was the first season to feature the new conference stage to the tournament. With 16 teams from across all ESL Pro tour Challenger competitions will be battling it out for the last 6 coveted spots in the EPL Group Stage, where 18 teams are already waiting.
Currently, 15 teams jointly govern and participate in revenue for ESL Pro League. They also have long-term participation slots which protect them from getting relegated.
