Celebrating 20 seasons of DreamLeague

One of the longest running Dota 2 leagues will make its grand return this weekend as DreamLeague powered by Intel® enters its 20th season on June 11th!

Here is all you need to know about DreamLeague Season 20 powered by Intel®:

DreamLeague Season 20 will take place online from 11th June to 25th June, 2023. The top two teams from DreamLeague Season 20, will qualify for Riyadh Masters at Gamers8 in July, earning the chance to compete for the $15,000,000 prize pool.

DreamLeague Season 20 starts with Group Stage 1 which will see 16 elite Dota 2 teams face off against each other to determine which eight squads will proceed to Group Stage 2. From there, the top four teams will then continue their battle in the double elimination Playoffs bracket.

The two best teams will advance to the Grand Finals to battle for the lion’s share of the $1,000,000 total prize pool and the coveted title of DreamLeague Champions.

Schedule & Format

Group Stage 1: 11th - 14th June

The 16 teams will compete against each other in two separate groups. Through a best-of-two round-robin format, the top four teams from each group will proceed to Group Stage 2.

Group Stage 2: 15th - 23rd June

The remaining eight teams will compete against each other in one group through a best-of-three round-robin. The top four teams will advance to the Playoffs where the top two of Group Stage 2 will be placed into the upper bracket and the others will be placed into the lower bracket.

Playoffs: 24th - 25th June

The final four teams will compete in a double elimination bracket where anything can happen in the best-of-three matches. The winner of the upper bracket will proceed to the Grand Finals while the loser will have one final chance in the lower bracket against the winner of the first round of the lower bracket.

Grand Finals: 25th June

Grand Finals: 25th June The Grand Finals will feature the top two teams of the competition which will both also qualify for Riyadh Masters hosted at Gamers8. The final match is a best-of-five series at the end of which the winner will be crowned DreamLeague Season 20 Champions and take home the top prize of $300,000.
