ESL Challenger League Season 50 - Cup #2: Team Invites

Here are your 104 teams that will be playing in the ESL Challenger League Season 50 - Cup #2 tournament.

79 teams (Europe - 26 teams, North America - 19 teams, South America - 18 teams, Asia - 10 teams, and Oceania - 6 teams) have been invited based on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) invitation data as of August 4, 2025. The remaining 25 teams have been invited based on their finishing spots in ESEA League Season 52, and Season 53.

Teams will compete in a double-elimination brackets in their respective region, and the winner of each region will get invited to the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Regional Finals.

Each team has received their invite based on their rosters stated in the VRS.

Note: the final roster submission deadline for all teams is August 25, 2025.

For a team to be eligible to accept their invitation they must retain a majority roster. In this case there are some notable points to consider when looking at the invited teams:

Team Vitality (VRS 1), Team Spirit (VRS 2), MOUZ (VRS 3), The MongolZ (VRS 4), Natus Vincere (VRS 5), FURIA (VRS 6), Team Falcons (VRS 7), FaZe Clan (VRS 8), Astralis (VRS 9), TYLOO (VRS 10), Aurora Gaming (VRS 11), and G2 Esports (VRS 12) can’t be invited based on the Valve’s Tournament Operating Requirements that states: “3.8.4 The VRS rank of the invited Rosters must be lower than 12 on the Global VRS at the time of the Invite Date.".
Europe: 3DMAX (VRS 13), GamerLegion (VRS 14), Virtus.pro (VRS 17), HEROIC (VRS 18), Ninjas in Pyjamas (VRS 19), SAW (VRS 22), BetBoom (VRS 23), Liquid (VRS 26), B8 (VRS 27), ECSTATIC (VRS 28), Iberian Soul (VRS 29), TNL (VRS 30), BIG (VRS 34), PARIVISION (VRS 40), CYBERSHOKE (VRS 60), G2 (VRS 71) and 9 Pandas (VRS 72) have all declined their invites.
North America: Complexity (VRS 20), M80 (VRS 31), NRG (VRS 38), BLUEJAYS (VRS 78), Getting Info (VRS 87), Party Astronauts (VRS 135), Nouns (VRS 141), Chicken Coop (VRS 156), LAG (VRS 174), Party Astronauts (VRS 187), Getting Info (VRS 205), Black Mold (VRS 208) and MEGA JUNERS (VRS 216) have all declined their invites.
South America: paiN (VRS 16), Legacy (VRS 21), Imperial (VRS 43), 9z (VRS 65), FURIA fe (VRS 79), Fluxo (VRS 120), LP (VRS 130), ex-W7M (VRS 131), RED Canids (VRS 142), MIBR fe (VRS 158), UNO MILLE (VRS 166), adalYamigos (VRS 172), O PLANO (VRS 173) and ODDIK (VRS 175) have all declined their invites.
Asia: Lynn Vision (VRS 15), Akimbo (VRS 143), Only One Word (VRS 155), Akimbo (VRS 177), Victores Sumus (VRS 195) and Shika (VRS 197) have all declined their invites.
Oceania: FlyQuest (VRS 25) and Mindfreak (VRS 162) have declined their invites.
