With IEM Atlanta just around the corner, we have an update to share regarding team participation at the event.
BET-M 33 has withdrawn from the event due to not having the necessary documentation required for their visa application and will no longer attend IEM Atlanta 2026.
In accordance with the replacement rules for qualifier slots (3.2.5 Qualifier slots), SINNERS have been invited as the next highest placing team from the Global Closed Qualifier. SINNERS have accepted the invitation and we look forward to seeing them compete in Georgia this coming May.
As a result of their withdrawal, BET-M 33 will receive a penalty in line with the rulebook (2.14.1 Withdrawing from the event), consisting of a ban from receiving an invitation to the next Tier 1 event for which they would otherwise have been invited.
